Boston: Hey, Girls, I can’t believe it. It seems like I just sent out my resumes and I already landed my dream job. Selling commercial real estate in Phoenix, Arizona. Plenty of sunshine, and no more freezing winters. And no more showing turn-of-the-century houses to young couples who look at about one-hundred before they make a decision. By the time they figure out which one they want, it’s due for renovation. Or they backdoor you and buy the house directly from the owner. Atlanta: I hear ya’. Residential real estate sure isn’t cat’s meow I’d thought it would be. Whooee. Lucky you. You’re in the big leagues now. When you get to Phoenix, let me know if there’s any more openings. The humidity here is killing me. I won’t even tell you what it’s doin’ to my hair.

Dallas: Hon, what are you gonna’ do with your house? Sell? Rent? Boston: I’m selling it. In fact, I’m selling everything. House, furniture. I want a fresh start. Everything new. They say any house older than ten years in Phoenix is practically considered a historical landmark. And my antique furnishings would look out of place in the desert, anyway. When I visited my aunt, her place was done in a Tuscan design. Very cool. I’ll get my house on the market and place an ad in the paper for my furniture.Minneapolis: Don’t count on selling your furniture through the paper. When my mom passed away and we placed advertised in the local paper, it was a complete waste of time. Hardly anybody called on the ad, and the ones that did wanted to barter your price down to nothing. It was pretty cold, considering the sentimental value of her belongings. I finally ended up selling the items through eBay. Boston: I never thought about eBay. Isn’t that kind of complicated?

Minneapolis: I thought it would be, but I bought the Video Professor’s online course on Buying and Selling on eBay. It was great.

The lessons walk you through the whole process, from start to finish. In fact, I learned so much through Video Professor, I started up a part-time business selling items using eBay.
